On November 11, 2021, Meishi Film Academy held a symposium for 2021’s freshmen from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the conference room of Experimental Teaching Building. The Secretary of CPC Party Committee Li Yangmo, the deputy Secretary of CPC Party Committee Zhao Hua, Vice Dean Ma Xin, Assistant to the Dean Wang Qi, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Liang Xiaoying and the Grade 2021’s counselor Zheng Fang attended the meeting, which was presided over by Ma.

At the symposium, freshmen introduced themselves in turn firstly. Then teachers and students had in-depth exchanges on curriculum learning methods, campus life and other issues.

This symposium received a great response, and the participants expressed that they would actively integrate into the campus life, strive to adapt to the new environment, and improve their professional quality and comprehensive quality. Through this symposium, the sense of belonging and identity of freshmen to Chongqing University and Meishi Film Academy was enhanced, which laid a good foundation for further improving the education and management of students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
